Yesterday, it was my wife’s birthday.
I didn’t know what I could give her so…
As you can imagine from my fingers on the picture, the pebble is about 2 centimeters large.
The pattern is inspired by the decoration of the Visconti’s Hours.
A sudden craving for white vine and, as I’ve been doing too much blue lately, grey, Payne grey, shell gold and nevertheless a bit of Prussian blue to finish.
In a small gilded frame found by my wife, it makes a very nice decoration.
They said yes to each other yesterday and we were there to see that. We had a marvelous day.
Now, I can show you the monogram I made for them.
To see the whole thing, just have a look to the gallery.
And, as one has to dress a bit for a wedding, I made this chain mail tie, quite nice even if a bit heavy 🙂
For my wife’s neck, I chose something a bit lighter, I made her this pendant of slate, engraved with a filigree pattern and gilded with gold powder.
At last, I’ve finished the white vine pattern I was working on for several weeks now.
to have a look to the whole work, rendez-vous in the gallery.
