Second item (to be reviewed because I’m not totally satisfied) of my new series of poems by Guillevic.
and it’s true, no one will ever be able to match Nyx.
First item in a new series dedicated to the poet Guillevic, a series I was already mentioning here.
A reworked NEULAND and filigrees, all with walnut stain and iron gall ink.
This poem is taken from the collection entitled Paroi.
I have read again for the umpteenth time the collection Du domaine by Guillevic.
I find new inspiration with each reading.
A slate engraving, filled with rust & wax for a poem about time
(home made translation : Here the time, believes itslef innocent)
and a poem on rain (and time), engraved on a terracotta pot, which I have already posted in video but of which I give you a still image (I recommend the video, the problem of the pots being their roundness which prevents us to cover their entire circumference at a glance).
I’m going to post here the most interesting (or so I believe) works I made these last 2 years and that were only posted on the french version of the blog.
I hope you will like it even if it can be considered as old stuff.
The concerned posts titles will start by “OLD STUFF”.
To begin with, here is a set of short poems by Guillevic (french poet of the XXth century).
I made them on paper, using the same script (humanistic minuscule) and the same design. The adornment in the circle is supposed to echo the text.

This post is dedicated to Iris Van de Casteele, a belgian poet who lives in Paraguay.
She honoured me by writing a poem about my works in a collection named Grains de folie, poem which my modesty forbids me to reproduce here (even if she was kindly making fun of my failures).
At the same time, she was punlishing another collection of poems, in german this time, called Reflexionen where I found the text that follows.
As I told you last week, I’ve been working on the poem Des Armes by LĂ©o FerrĂ© and it’s now finished.
I started with a collage of leaves from a book found at a secondhand bookseller which title is “Training of the 1st january 1923 on the grenades for use by troops from any army”, I found it would make a perfect background for this poem which title could be translated into “Weapons”.
I eventually added the text, using a revisited NEULAND, I will soon post a model of it for those who would like to follow me.
Till then, to see the whole work, have a look in the gallery.
I hafe just started to work on the poem Des Armes by Léo Ferré. I took the opportunity to rework a bit the NEULAND script designed by Rudolf Koch.
