An old piece of work, not posted here yet.
As it matches the theme of my next workshop in Paris, I thought it might be appropriate to show it to you today.

…will want to be your pennons

It’s the translation of this new poem by Guillevic, engraved on this new terra cotta pot.

The curve of the pot forbids to photograph the whole text at once, you’ll consequently get 2 pics.

And, as a bonus one, a photo of the happy father with his last-born 🙂

Know thyself

An umpteenth version of this sentence engraved on the Oracle’s temple in Delphi : Know thyself.

This time, I mixed an embossed roman capital with its greek counterpart, letterred on tin and electro-etched to show the hidden parts of the roman caps.

I’m very happy with the result, already thinking of new works using the same technique. Impatient !!!

A new work, fragment of Julien Gracq’s Rivage des Syrtes.

It was long and difficult, I did a lot of drafts (more than usual) before I managed to produce this result.
As often now, it was done on a paper from the Kéréon mill.
