Second item (to be reviewed because I’m not totally satisfied) of my new series of poems by Guillevic.
and it’s true, no one will ever be able to match Nyx.
First item in a new series dedicated to the poet Guillevic, a series I was already mentioning here.
A reworked NEULAND and filigrees, all with walnut stain and iron gall ink.
This poem is taken from the collection entitled Paroi.
This is probably a little letter from the book of Kells (I think), made more than 15 years ago (that’s why the source is not very trustworthy), and it has been forgotten in a drawing board for more than ten years.
I didn’t add the colors (in case you haven’t noticed, color is not my thing) but it’s probably pretty much in line with the original from a design point of view (& not color)).
I (painfully) advance on my filigree composition.
I must have done about half of it, in 15 hours…
I may have seen a little big, or I may be filling in a little small 😀
And as one has to warm up when taking the pen, I do little things each time before continuing on the big composition.
For example, a flower design that I invented a few years ago but that I’m never tired of reproducing.
